Earth Day-Mothers Day

In 1970, when Earth Day originated in the United States. Earth Day went international in 1990, with organized events in 141 countries, and the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day in 2009.

Resolved for a green economy to improve human well-being and social equity while having a reduced environmental strain on the planet, resulting in a society with low carbon, efficient resource allocation, and a socially inclusive attitude.

Have we achieved that inclusive attitude ? Are not the polar-ice-caps and glaciers melting , as if the mother earth crying in silent tears ?
